It depends on the scope. For most partnerships, I work on a pure revenue share paid at the end of the outcome. If it's a good fit, I'll walk you through the structure after the first call.
I usually prefer to plug into and level up the team you already have. If a full replacement is the right move, I'll say so.
Sprints have a clearly documented deliverable. If I don't ship it, you don't pay the final invoice. Ongoing partnerships can be cancelled each quarter, no drama.
